After reaching the quarter-finals of the Azam Sports Federation Cup by beating Kagera Sugar 2-1, Head Coach Didier Gomez said our goal of defending the title is on track to succeed.
Gomez has said that we need to defend the FA Cup to show that we are different from other teams by showing the great potential we have.
Commenting on the game against Kagera, Coach Gomez praised the players for the ability they showed from being behind by one goal and equalizing before scoring the winning goal.
"We controlled the game for the most part, in the first half we played well but we didn't get the chance to score. In the second half I brought in Bernard Morrison and John Bocco to speed up the attack and we were successful, ”said Gomez.
Coach Gomez has also talked about the upcoming Premier League game against Yanga as important to win as it determines the future of the championship this season.
"Towards the game against Yanga, our morale is high, we have played six matches and won all of them and this match will show who will be the champion so it is good to win with it," said Gomez.
