To encourage students to study in the United States, Wilkes University is providing Jay Sidhu scholarships for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Sponsorship will be given to students with excellent academic merits of the previous degree. Students who belong to India or have Indian citizenship are entitled to this scholarship.

Eligibility
- Eligible countries: India
- Suitable courses: all courses and university subjects are suitable.
- Eligibility criteria: In order to be eligible, applicants must meet all the following criteria/data:
- The student must be an Indian citizen.
- The student must be the first time they study in the United States on an F-1 visa
- The student must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- The student must be enrolled as a freshman in Wilkes and reside on campus.

- Students can then request the desired courses by submitting the required documents.

- Official high school transcripts
- Copy of passport page
- There are official transcripts of other educational institutions.
- Admission requirements: Students must have completed the following to secure a place at Wilkes University:
- Four years of English.
- Three years of math.
- Two years of science (including a laboratory component)
- Three years of social studies.

Benefits
Selected students will be provided with an amount that ranges from $1,000 to $5,000 as money for scholarships once their application is accepted by the university.
